The fastest open mic in Austin, Texas. Each per­former has a minute to make the audi­ence laugh. A wide range of local and visiting comedy talent can prac­tice their one-minute set for Kill Tony just prior to the show's taping and on the same block.The show takes place upstairs at Pour Choices (401 E 6th St) at 7 PM. Doors open and sign-up begins at 7:00 PM. The mic begins once the initial wave of sign-ups is complete. Sign-up continues throughout the mic. Just drop your name in the bucket that the host holds. You may also sign up ahead of time by re-sharing @derekdmpfl's story for that day on Instagram and sending a message with the name you would like to sign up with. Sign-up is bucket style. If you are absent and your name is called, it will be saved and called again at the end of the mic.Admission is free. Donations are encouraged to help cover the cost of running the mic.
