About Vanessa Gonzalez
Vanessa Gonzalez is a Laredo-born comedian who began her professional comedy life in Austin in 2009. She first worked in sketch with the Latino Comedy Project, then expanded into improv and stand-up before becoming a nationally touring performer.
Her credits include Just For Laughs New Faces, Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents, HBO Latino's Entre Nos, and truTV. Even after moving to Los Angeles, Gonzalez has remained strongly connected to Austin through festival appearances, hometown returns, and comedy developed in the city's rooms.
