About Yola Lu
Yola Jean Lu is an Austin comedian, improviser, actor, filmmaker, and producer whose work moves between live comedy and independently made film. She began performing stand-up in 2011 and relocated to Austin to participate in a larger comedy community.
Lu co-founded the Asian American improv troupe Y'all We Asian and the stand-up project Disoriented Comedy. Her Austin producing work has included Brixton Comedy Hour, Oops All Headliners, Easy A, Y'all We Asian showcases, and Live at ColdTowne.
Her screen work includes the web series uncomfortable and the short film Patsy, which she wrote, produced, and starred in.
